In general, the cage itself holds my pit bull in place. He was at the shelter for 9 months before we adopted him and came in with a big separation issue. He would gnaw holes in the wall the size of my entire torso and being a super neat and organized person he wouldn't slip. Bee escaped and destroyed his other cage and that seemed like the only way out. He can't get out of this. He doesn't like it at all, but we try to make him more comfortable. He's on anti-anxiety meds, but we haven't found the right prescription yet, so hopefully he'll be comfortable with it soon after some training. comfortable to be there and after a month we even started putting a bed with blankets in it.
