These solenoids work great but are giving me heartburn. I only had to replace one and it didn't work when wired like the original. In fact, NONE of them worked when connected like the original. I've found that the switch body/metal bracket doesn't act as a ground like every other solenoid I've ever mounted to anything. There are two small pins on the switch and one is the "hot" pin to activate the solenoid and the other actually needs to be connected to ground for the switch to work. Many Ford solenoids have this second small pole and it is used to turn on the indicator light to indicate "starter on". This pole is never used in most solenoid applications. After finding out that none of those 4 solenoids worked when grounded to the bracket I almost got them back. I decided to try a grounded second pole and it worked. There is no info sheet or schematic included, that's all you need for troubleshooting. Once I realized that they work great.
