For years I have wanted to improve the temperature control in my BBQ area. This product has the right feature set for me. I currently use two dual sensors that allow me to see the temperature in the pit in two places as well as the temperature of the meat. Setup was easy. I don't feel like I use the device's screen that much. To be honest, I would have been just as happy to see a headless version of the device that could be customized with Blue Tooth. The mobile web interface needs some work. I think the way the chart works, as well as the way the sensors are managed, leaves a lot to be desired. Unconnected sensors should not be displayed. You can turn them off, but it won't let you save views. That being said, this worries me less since there is a programming API for retrieving session and probing information. This allows me to build whatever I want. That was also the reason why I chose this device. My only concern is that it is a cloud device. Customers depend on Teappecue's future to use the purchased product. I've seen too many companies scrap perfectly working products because of financial problems or because they were no longer strategic to them. I'd really like to see a promise to unlock the system if they can't or won't support it anymore.
