I was using a Mac airport router with an extension cord. I had an old modem and replaced it with an ARRIS Surfboard T25 DOCSIS 3.1 Gigabit cable modem. Then I added TP-Link Deco X20. The Deco was easy to set up and the two additional devices paired flawlessly. My speed has exploded. I live on 3700 sqm. Walk and throughout the home with great connectivity and speed. My ISP is Comcast and they told me that my old modem couldn't match the speed of the new modems. After these changes I am completely satisfied. I just did a speed test (from the farthest point from my main router) with my iPhone XR and it was a download speed of 205Mbps and an upload speed of 38.7Mbps.
