When I needed to replace the original mirror I contacted the dealer and they were going to charge $225 for the part and $125 for the labor which seemed outrageous for something that seemed so beautifully simple. I found this part for about $60 and decided it was worth saving $300. For someone with some basic knowledge and common sense, setup was easy. There are some decent instructions you can find online and a YouTube video showing how to remove the door panel which was helpful as well. Once you've removed the door panel, all you have to do is remove and replace 3 screws and a wire harness. In the end, the whole process only took about 30 minutes and it seems to work just like the original. As mentioned in some reviews, the mirror is noticeably lighter than the original but looks identical and works well.
