Review on πŸš€ Experience Power and Speed with AMD Ryzen 7 1700X Processor by Jnis vele ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I did not regret the purchase, everything is fine.

When I converted to it from Phenom II x2 unlocked to x4 in 2022, I bought an Intel i5-2500K and was so impressed by its power that I believed there was no way I would ever go back to using an AMD processor. i5-2500K was wonderful for everyone, and it was possible to overclock it to 5 GHz while keeping the solder in place and keeping it cool. It was like something out of a fairy tale in comparison to the FX. Even after working with computers for the past 25 years, I continue to believe that the FX was the absolute worst CPU ever created. However, after the sandy bridge, Intel found itself in a rut. +3% compared to the prior generation for the Hong Konganent. Alteration of the sockets on a consistent basis. Prices that are impossible to pay, particularly if the processor has more than four cores. And now it's time to change my lovely i5-2500K, which has turned into the choice between an i7-6800K + mother for 40,000 dollars or a Ryzen 7 1700 + mother for 23,000 dollars. And at that moment, I exclaimed to myself, "Enough to bear it!" Intel has just made the conscious decision to reduce the number of chips they produce and raise their prices. In addition to this, they are unable to manufacture solder, despite the fact that solder is priced similarly to thermal paste. This is something that is done on purpose! They should be allowed to sit on their Intels while yearly changes are made to the motherboard. I really hope that AMD, after having such a success with Ryzen, which was a success for their company, would not introduce another product that is a flop like FX. In the event where Ryzen 2-3-4 is equivalent to FX. I do not feel even the slightest pang of guilt about returning to Intel. For the time being, Ryzen is the processor I'll be using. Any game at over 70 frames per second is unplayable. In addition, my video card puts a greater emphasis on the 1080ti resolution, despite the fact that I use a 1440p monitor. And for anyone who has 4k (2160p) Monica, the Ryzen 1600 should be plenty because even the 1080ti generates somewhere below 50 fps in 4k. PS more than a thousand people have expressed disagreement with my assessment of FX =) It is a fact that it caused people's eyes to suffer. Let's wait and see what the outcome of this is.

Pros
  • + The most significant benefit is the low cost + The low price per core + The eight cores + The low thermal design power + The low power consumption (not to be confused with TDP. TDP and consumption are not the same thing, despite the fact that 90% of people believe that they are) + Solder behind the lid + Cheap motherboards with no overclocking limits
Cons
  • - Most commonly, a low overclocking frequency between 3.8 and 3.9 is used. - Ryzen has a gloomy appearance due to its poor performance per core per MHz, which, when combined with its low overclocking on a single thread, makes Ryzen look even worse. - Infiniti factory (the common bus of operation is only on one bus), thus Ryzen requires RAM with a frequency of 3200 MHz or higher and just two ranks (if you take two bars); if you take four bars, then you need to pick single-rank ones.
