Okay, I know I should have at least looked at the manual a long time ago, but now I know. I used to change the bottom filter (I never knew about the top one), but over time my vacuum stopped sucking. There was an "oh yeah" moment when I saw two different color filters for my car. So I bought the kit, spent a few minutes finding the top filter, had a lot of trouble replacing it, and here it is. no matter. Be careful when removing this filter, I accidentally "unwrapped" some of the fine dust that was packed inside.
