My driveway is steep and I have to park my truck outside most of the time. The spot I park is a patch of rain dripping off the roof and the driveway freezes over at that point. It's hard for my truck to stay still at night when it starts to freeze. When I bought these pads I was skeptical that they would handle a 2500 ram on sloping ice. I'm happy to report that they work great. You will need to shorten the rope as there is only 1.5 feet between the two ends of the blocks. I've also used them camping and love their design as they seem to work well on small rocks and debris.
