Review on Dorman 746 145 Door Lock Actuators by Chris Edgerton

Makes a terrible squeak when triggered. It's like the gears are loosening and jumping over each other. The drive works but the noise is terrible and I don't think it will last long. The door mounting of the drive in the car exerts a large load on the drive housing. Note that this appears to be designed to compress all of the gears in the drive and prevent them from loosening. Works on the original - makes no noise when assembled, squeaks when unassembled. New actuator screams fitted or fitted! I'll write again if it stops working!
