Not all parts arrived

Received all 4 serial adapters but only 2 LCDs. Due to project schedules I went ahead and used what came because I couldn't wait for a replacement. One LCD soldered perfectly and worked first time. The text on the second LCD is also distorted when changing the adapter before and after the soldering test. It's just not right. If it was all parts I would write it down as 1 bad but the fact that I had no parts and only 1 of the two screens worked should the buyer beware.
