Review on 🛢️ Authentic Matic-S Transmission Fluid 999MP-MTS00P by Nissan OEM (12 Quarts) by Onur Donovan

Again the feeling of a new car.

It has driven about 140,000 km since my 2014 Infiniti. I worried about the variator. The car ran fine with no problems but I know the fluid must have gone cloudy by now and wanted to extend the life of the CVT as I've heard they die quite young; So I decided to change the fluid. Now most mechanics recommend not changing it at this high mileage if it hasn't been changed before because of the risk it could cause other problems. They will tell you this because they don't want liability if it breaks after they change it. You'll probably end up suing them. Most people who want to change a high-mileage fluid for the first time only do so because they already have problems with the CVT; Therefore, it is more likely that the damage has already been done and modifying it is likely to fail. That's why mechanics are reluctant to change it. It's not their car, they don't know how it was driven or if it had gearbox problems; but you can do it What I recommend is that if the mileage is high and you don't see any problems with the CVT, you should open the filler cap and drain some liquid into your hand. If the liquid hasn't burned off (otherwise it smells very bad) and you can't smell the semolina when rubbing between your index finger and thumb, I'd give the go-ahead for a replacement. I've seen people change their fluid with 100,000+ miles with no problems. Make sure you drop the pan, clean the two magnets and change the filter. You will see a lot of metal paste on these magnets. This is normal wear and tear and these magnets need to catch metal before it reaches the filter or the filter will clog preventing fluid from entering the gear box causing it to eat itself. So be careful. Once these magnets are saturated with the metal paste, they can no longer attract and your filter will become clogged. I put my filter under the microscope and found it clipped by about 25%. I caught it at a good time. MAKE SURE THESE MAGNETS ARE CLEAN AND THE FILTER IS REPLACED OR YOU WILL JUST LOSE YOUR MONEY. Don't worry about the cost of all this; This covers fuel costs as the transmission works more efficiently by using less fuel. You'll find that the RPM is lower at cruising speed because the engine doesn't have to work as hard to move the car the same distance. My wife and I see that there is a lot more liveliness now when accelerating. We drive a lot long distance (300+ miles) and have noticed a noticeable difference in fuel economy depending on where the fuel gauge ends at the end of our trip. It actually looks like a new car. You can buy fluids from other brands if they are compatible. I chose OEM, but if the money hurt me, it's better not to switch to OEM than not to switch at all.
