Review on 🔧 Alltrade 648433 Piston Ring Compressor (2" - 5"), Silver - The Perfect Tool for Piston Rings Compression by Jessie Duhon

I don't have a very good experience with this tool. I'm not a professional mechanic so I only had to work on one engine. This tool will work and is cheap so I won't discourage anyone from buying it but based on my experience I can make two caveats. 1) You can easily cut yourself on the edges of this thing, and 2) if you drop it on the ground it will most likely spin violently and the very thin steel bands compressing the sleeve will twist so much that You can never fix it. Yes, I'm a clumsy bastard, but I only turned one piston before this tool went to the bin and I had to order another one. It took me a whole day of work on my engine. If I were to build more than one engine this decade I would spend more money and get one of the professional quality tools.
