Carplay causes the device to suddenly short circuit/shut down.

I installed it yesterday and it works fine until I connect my iPhone (with original Apple cable). Then I hear a cracking sound in the speakers and the device turns off immediately. As soon as I unplug the cable from the USB port, it restarts. When I turn it back on it works normally. I don't understand why it keeps doing this, but since that's why I bought it, I'm not happy. I'll see if someone from the company replies to this, otherwise I can return it.
