Terrible Bluetooth Receiver for Vehicles

I purchased this device hoping it would pair easily with my car's electronics. Unfortunately, it was a total bust. According to my experience, the Hodozzy Compatible Bluetooth Receiver External delivers poor sound quality and frequently drops connections. The only pro is that it is compact and easy to install. However, this hardly makes up for its major con – that it simply doesn't work well with modern electronics. I strongly advise against this product.

Great value but don't expect Bose

Easy to install, wiring is clear and no hassle. , no complaints. I thought I'd get wireless CarPlay, but hey, for the money, what's a cable between friends 😎

Carplay causes the device to suddenly short circuit/shut down.

I installed it yesterday and it works fine until I connect my iPhone (with original Apple cable). Then I hear a cracking sound in the speakers and the device turns off immediately. As soon as I unplug the cable from the USB port, it restarts. When I turn it back on it works normally. I don't understand why it keeps doing this, but since that's why I bought it, I'm not happy. I'll see if someone from the company replies to this, otherwise I can return it.
