Doesn't Size Matter Anymore?

My issue isn't with the performance of the product, it's with the fact the product doesn't match the description provided on the website.I purchased this wheel because I needed to grind a 4.1" counterbore into a concrete counter-top surface 2.3 mm deep for a flush-mount trim kit. The description indicates this is a 4" wheel, the technical specification indicates 4.2" however when I measured the cup wheel, the actual measurement is 3.955" (measured using digital calipers). The description and technical specifications do not match the product. That said, with the jig I created, I was able to move the grinder around a little and get the exact dimensions I needed and the grinding cup wheel worked as expected; I've used their concrete wet polishing pads and have had good results as well.

Pros
  • With Stadea CWD101A Diamond Cup Wheel, you can grind a wide variety of surfaces, including concrete, natural stones, and masonry materials. This versatility allows you to handle different grinding tasks with the same tool, making it a valuable investment for any construction project
Cons
  • Unlike larger grinding wheels, the smaller size of the Stadea CWD101A Cup Wheel may not impart the same level of tactile feedback to users while grinding. This can make it harder to gauge the progress of the grinding operation, which can result in over-grinding or inadequate material removal
