You do NOT have to solder it. Works fine as intended.
How to use it right out of the box. 2 inputs on one end with positive and negative power. At the other end of the 3 inputs, insert the coil into the 2 end slots leaving the middle one empty. 9v just to try. When powered on, a blue light illuminates next to the power inputs. It is very durable and looks professional. I recommend this product.
- The width of the object to be heated must be between 1/3 and 1/2 of the inner diameter of the heating coil and must not exceed 2/3.
