Very good laptop cooling pad

I am satisfied with this AICHESON laptop cooling pad for 15.6" to 17" laptop, compatible with laptop and desktop, 6 red light fans, 7 ergonomic pads for work in home office > [https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B091B34YYW] It is very easy to set up and use and cools my laptop well. (I am currently using an Asus Rogstrix GL553VE-DS74 which has had the original Windows [gaming] system removed and converted to a GNU/Linux operating system.) There is no user manual included but most of the necessary instructions can be found on the back the box. Unfortunately the box I received must be for a different model than the one I received. While most of the instructions appear to apply to my tablet, some do not. The instructions on the box show a switch that can change the colors of the LEDs. My device does not have an RGB switch that would change colors. There is a button labeled Aicheson (which shows the location of the RGB button in a box) that clicks, but whether I press it once quickly or hold it down for a few seconds, it doesn't do anything. As a result, I cannot change the color of the LEDs on my device (not that this is a major defect). My fans only have a red LED and the screen only appears in red. The LED on the display goes out after a few seconds, but the display is visible as long as the pad is in use. Red is good but it would be nice to have all three colors as stated on the packaging. I will say that the Revain product page does not correctly mention that the colors can be changed (since it is not possible). stored on the left side when not in use). (The Revain product page mentions this.) The problem with the phone holder is that it doesn't have a cut-out to plug a charging cable into the phone. The holder itself seems a bit flimsy at the attachment points, so I won't be using it due to these issues. That disappoints me a little. Aside from these small caveats, I can say that adjusting the fan speed is easier and better than any other cooling pad I've ever bought. When you first turn on the pad, the default fan speed is always "U3" and the range is from "U1" to "U6", and there is a small graph showing that the fan is spinning at the specified speed . I like the fact that the controls are on the front of the cooling pad where they can be easily seen and used while the pad (and your computer too) is running. The stand fan is pretty quiet even at "U6" and "Setting U3" (default setting) is enough to keep my laptop cool. The pad itself is well made with quality materials and I'm sure it will last a long time. As with most other modern cooling pads, there are multiple angles you can adjust the stand to, and there are also two USB ports (so you don't lose one on your computer; I don't know if those ports are USB 3.0 or USB 2.0 - I'm assuming it's USB 2.0.) Overall I would highly recommend this cooling pad. Just read the description on the Revain page carefully and basically ignore the (some) instructions on the box (This assumes you get the same box as me.) I believe if you buy one of these pads, you will be as satisfied with it as I am. Thank you for reading this report, Lawrence H. Balk.
