Serviceable. for notebook accessories

This stand has a strange power connector. They give you a USB AA cable. I assume you need to connect it to your laptop and get a panel port for another device. I don't trust that so I just plugged it into my external USB power supply. I don't think that when the pillow is lying flat it gives the fans enough clearance to suck in air. I used a pad on the bottom notch to give the fans some airflow. My Asus G1712LW-ES74 laptop is 17 inch and hangs over this plate. I think they're exaggerating the…

More Notebook Accessories

It didn't help my laptop much. My laptop was still pretty hot. The stand feels a little flimsy and flexes too easily. The lights don't go out, so it's not great. The small phone stand is too easy to remove and only gets in the way. I wish the fan speed was higher.

No longer works in cooling pads

NO WORKING AFTER ONE WEEK buy It works great while it lasts. My son's laptop usually gets hot while gaming. The only thing I would change is that the phone holder part should be slightly tilted. It's hard to see the screen when the phone is upright.

Good stand but not so good Cooling Pad

The cooling pad does not need to be assembled. It comes with a USB cable and you plug it into one of the USB ports. It has 6 speeds and all speeds are silent. Even when I set it to maximum there is no noise. It's like a laptop stand can get 4-5 stars but as a laptop cooling pad only 1. I have a Helios Predator 300. It doesn't have a big heat issue but it can get a little warm when I'm playing games. I used my old nzxt cryo x60 cooling pad. Unfortunately, Aitcheson falls short in comparison. It…

Moves air.

Heat is the enemy of electronics. I admit that I don't know if cooling pads are really necessary for modern devices or if the developers have sufficiently compensated for the temperature rise. I used them when my old 17" Dell had overheating issues. Add in a modem that's uncomfortably hot to the touch and a Roku flash drive that will definitely shut down without blowing the fan.
