Damn oil leak! But you can do something about it!

You know the old Chevrolet joke? (spelled "Chevrolet" in all caps) Well, they were inexpensive and notorious for jack rattle and oil leaks. Let's just say your average Chevy helps with future oil reserves by putting oil on the floor in addition to coating your engine compartment and chassis. BUT it shouldn't be like that. Replace this gasket and 25-50% of oil leaks will be gone. Yes, it's difficult to get to and requires special tools, but at least the gasket is very inexpensive. Get on with fixing those leaks! That gasket, rear main and rocker cover gaskets are big culprits. You'll know it's bad because the front of the engine and the entire underside are covered in oil and dirt.
