I bought these mirrors because they were stronger than the ones that just attached to the pivot bracket. So far, so good. Haven't done many doors from driving but no problems to date. They were easy to put on and take off after initial installation when the painted pivot bolt had to be loosened and I scratched the bolt's paint trying to loosen it. I've noticed people asking for the bolt size and it's the same as the Jeep bolts so you can use the Jeep provided ratchet tool for a full install. I expected this to be a problem, but it isn't.
