Purrfect. My cat has had it for a few weeks now and it hasn't gone away. The ones I bought at the pet store also had a safety clasp and my cat lost it on the third day of wearing it. This one hasn't failed yet. I like the bell on the collar not only to save the birds but also when I call my kitten home (and sometimes he's an idiot and doesn't come right away, at least when I hear his bell I know it's him goes well ). After all, he comes home when he's hungry enough. Update 03/27/2016: My cat hasn't lost this collar yet (knock on wood). It is great! Update May 23, 2016: My kitten lost this collar sometime in early April, so it was about a month old. I've since looked through a few more collars that I bought locally (some lasted a day, others a month). I will be back to order a few more as this is my favorite. You just have to accept that the kitten will lose the collar, but remember, at least your cat didn't get caught in the tree by the collar, right? Or even give up the collar. And then a neighbor will take your cat to an animal shelter, thinking she's homeless, and you'll have to pay a fee to get the cat back. Not to mention the stress it will cause for your kitty!
