This is by far the best timer I have ever owned, full of thoughtful details. The buzz feature is a huge benefit and I wish all Polder timers (especially the Neck Hung model) would add it. It's perfect for early morning coffee making when I don't want to wake up everyone else in the house, or in the office when I don't want to draw attention. I'm pretty sure the buzz is there to be felt when you're nearby, and not to call you from distant rooms like some people expect. Button presses are instant and crisp, unlike my old Taylor digital timer. The clamp can be set up so that the timer is on the tabletop. Supplied with batteries. No, it's not cheap, but compared to what's available on the market, it's great value for money. From now on I will only buy Poldertimers.
