Installed on 05 Harley Davidson Sportster 883 Okay I wanted this to work right out of the box but I had a few issues. The first one I ordered broke during installation. cheap metal. I got a replacement and installed it and noticed that it didn't sit flush with the carburetor. The top of the carburetor rested against the mounting plate, preventing it from sitting flush. 1/4 inch spacing is better. This causes your bike to run poorly through the carburetor. I had to sand a spot on the top of the panel to get it to stick properly. Longer spacers can be used for engine mounts. They are short and you need more shims or tighten them and everything will work. The screws in the clear plastic window are not tight enough and must be tightened carefully. so as not to suck air past the filter. Be careful, they are thin, like plastic. After you have done all this, take everything apart, remove the carburetor and re-adjust the carburetor. You must do that.
