The dust collector is ready to use, just have your 5 gallon bucket ready. Hooked it up to a 6.5hp vacuum and it picked up everything off the floor and only the dust got into the filter in the vacuum. Everything else stayed in the bucket, as it should be. I am happy with this product and I think anyone who needs it should really look into it. What I particularly like is its low profile, which prevents it from tipping over if you accidentally tug on it. I will build a cart for a vacuum cleaner and a dust collector.
