This small gauge is good for checking water pressure at home. I had no idea which one I had and now I know it's around 63psi at the end of my garden hose. I have 2 small problems with this sensor. First, there's no way to release pressurized water after the test, so if you remove it from a hose or faucet it will squirt everywhere. It should probably be connected permanently, not just for a short test. You can get around this by using a water separator before removing the gauge, but this is something you'll have to buy as an extra. Another problem I encountered is somewhat related to the first problem. Because the water splashed everywhere when unscrewing it, some of the water got onto the display and even under the plastic, leaving water droplets behind. I assumed it wasn't waterproof but that's a little annoying and hopefully won't affect future functionality. This is a useful tool if you suspect low water pressure or for seeing how your irrigation is affecting your home's water flow, but it's too easy and probably works better if you attach a two-way splitter to your faucet and use it just leave it. connected all the time, and I probably will, so I can control the pressure at all times. It doesn't leak at all, which is great.
