Hello, I'm using this thing and it works but it has serious flaws. The Ethernet port is very slow. I tested it and my WiFi speed is twice as fast. So much for using it for a reliable internet connection. Something strange is happening with USB. My monitor turns off every time I connect an external hard drive and then turns on again. When trying to create a backup, I noticed that some files were corrupted. But when I plug the drive directly into my MacBook's USB-C port, the drive is fine. I've also noticed that I've had better luck with a different USB hub connected to Satechi. It's just weird. My other problem is that my external monitor doesn't always work properly. sometimes it just turns off. I'm not sure if it's the Satechi, the monitor or my computer. But I've never had this problem when working with the Hootoo hub. The Mini DisplayPort connector is very, very tight and feels cheaply made. Maybe it has something to do with that.
