Review on 🍳 GreenPan Prime Midnight Hard Anodized Healthy Ceramic Nonstick Frying Pan/Skillet Set, Black, 8-Inch and 10-Inch by Antonio Cameron

Not worth the price

I would not recommend buying this item. I have the green version and I'm pretty sure it's the same formula, just green instead of black. They say there's a lifetime warranty, albeit a limited one, but what they don't tell you is that it doesn't cover the cover (which is basically the whole pan, and why would you even want to buy one). The insurance cover is only valid for 5 years. In the ads they give the impression that the pan is not coated at all but is made entirely of the materials they claim to be and that it will be the last pan you will ever need. My coating started to stick and fade, exposing the actual non-stick raw material being made underneath after about 2 years. I don't cook that much in a pan. I've never exposed it to high temperatures like in an oven or over a direct flame, and never used metal utensils, although they say it can handle anything with no issues. If I used it once a week it would be a high score. Due to hurricanes and frequent moves I haven't had a chance to return it and in the end I forgot it was in the unpacked box but I'm sure they would have honored the warranty. But given the price of this pot and the misleading advertising, you would expect it to last a lot longer. The non-stick coating on most ordinary cheap pans will easily last just as long. There's actually a three-piece Revain pan without a lid here for over half the $50 price of a pan, and I guarantee you'll get your money's worth by then.
