I built a Simon game (battery operated) using a Raspberry Pi Zero, 4x20 LCD, 4 LED buttons and sound. The map is great, but I had to disable the /dev/zero rendering service. Unlike other sound cards, see the Adafruit website for detailed instructions and documentation on which RPI (GPIO) pins are used to pair with the LCD and identify potential PIN conflicts. It didn't work for me with Audioinjector Zero, for example. But Speaker Bonnet is great and the documentation and stable driver really make the difference. So this works great with ALSA sound and Python's pygame. Highly recommended!
