I was going to buy a new Dyson Animal and thought let me try replacing the hose. Basically, my original tubing didn't allow the wnad to be easily removed and inserted. At first I thought it was a wand that's so expensive so I said let's just get a new Dyson and then I thought hey maybe it's a hose and not the end of a wand. I'm glad I chose this part. It fit perfectly and appeared to be as good or better than the original (when it was new). My wand slides in and out easily once installed and it only took 15 seconds to install. If your wand isn't sliding in and out easily anymore, this is a great easy fix and it's not difficult.
