This starter motor was perfect for our 2003 Toyota Corolla S with 160,000 miles on it. I'm generally handy and it took me 1.5 hours to install. The review said the number of teeth was different, but I found them the same. It was nice that I didn't have to deal with returns and refunds of the main debit/credit in the local shop, but disposed of the starter at a recycling center. I watched 2 youtube videos that helped. The hardest part was finding the second of the two mounting bolts and unclipping the fan and starter terminals - being careful not to damage the two connectors; 1 for the starter and 1 for the fan. Some people say it is not necessary to remove the fan, but it was very easy to open the panel to access the starter motor, although the 2nd screw closest to the battery is in an odd place was.
