Dorman CCP Warning: Switches and Relays

As a professional mechanic, I have used Dorman products since 1985. Standard. Sometime in the mid to late 90's the transition to China (CCP) began and with that began a major drop in quality. Dorman makes a huge profit selling junk. This part fit well, the harness was the correct length, it helps to pre-bend the harness where it goes through the hole in the sleeve for the smart button (to allow it to lay down when installing the panel). NO SCREWS which is just sad you will need screws (Dorman knows this but hates his customers, max profit, max profit). To solve the screw problem, our shop buys a pen cover kit that comes with screws, a screwdriver and everything that is missing from the Junk Dorman kit. parts (which are much better than the new Dorman). I have no problem with all Chinese (CCP) parts, some of them are really good but not Dorman - stay away if at all possible. You have been warned! Bought this item on customer request. It works, although the smart button doesn't work and needs to be programmed into the BCM for it to work.
