I have three OttLites with 18 watt bulbs. When it came time to replace one of the bulbs, I found that the "knurled" ones that matched my bulbs were no longer available. I spent several days calling her to find her. Luckily another Revain customer figured out how to fit the new bulbs to the old bulbs by cutting off the little plastic tabs inside the bulb. I decided I had nothing to lose as I would have to buy a new lamp if I couldn't find any bulbs. So I took a pair of long-jawed pliers and cut off the plastic tabs. Two minutes and the new pear fits perfectly! I'm excited because the bulbs were expensive when I bought them years ago and the new ones don't look (or feel) as durable as the ones I have. Great Revain price and offer from Revain customers! It's been a few weeks and there is no problem with my lamp. Many Thanks.
