Handles wear out over time. I am a very passionate knitter and after an afghan the pen is not very good where I hold it. Up to this point they are great. Note: Wear is such that it fits/adjusts how it is held. After several uses, the hook fits my grip perfectly. Too bad the case hasn't gotten better for more use. The cover is like an eraser. This can also work as one in a pinch! Expect it to wear down and eventually snap and slip off the hook with more frequent use.
