The solar panel doesn't really do much

So I spent a couple of days checking the internal battery: 1. On a full charge I left the radio on at medium volume and it ran for about 18 hours .2 . When fully charged, it was able to half charge my completely drained iPhone. After being half charged, the radio's battery indicated that it was half charged, but my phone stopped charging.3. With an empty charge, I could listen to the radio for 15 minutes after 5 minutes of intensive manual charging.4. With an empty charge, it will not be charged in the sun. I gave him a few holds and he started showing the light which he started charging in the sun. After leaving the radio in a sunny spot since 7am, I was able to turn it on after sundown. When I turned on the radio, less than 30 seconds passed before all the radios turned off. On a dead charge, after 5 minutes of active manual charging, it was able to revive my iPhone by getting it to turn on, but it only stayed on for a few seconds of juice. 6. From an empty charge, it took about 4-5 hours to charge (for most people, this varies depending on the charging station). Observations: - The solar panel is useless. Don't expect any noticeable strain from it - 5 minutes of vigorous manual spinning can actually be quite tiring. Don't expect to be able to turn on your phone with just a manual start, but in an emergency, you can turn on the radio/flashlight/SOS manually. - When listening to the radio, some stations were crisp and clear and others were not. . I suppose it depends more on what station you're listening to and the signal strength of that station than that radio. - This radio when fully charged can charge the phone but I would only use it in an emergency. because while it can do that, it's only enough to get you down to half a charge. Despite all of that, it has the ability to use a battery, which I would actually use to power this. Using batteries for power changes all of those numbers and the like above. However, I did all these different tests because in a real emergency, in a situation where I might not have batteries, I wanted to know how this radio would work. I deducted a star because the solar panel is practically unusable.

Pros
  • ECONOMY WEATHER RADIO
Cons
  • Makes me nervous
