Review on Garmin 010 01597 00 Vivomove Sport Black by Adam Woods ᠌

Excellent quality, absolutely not expected for such a price.

They look cool. I managed to buy at the start for 100 bucks. A man was selling a gift as useless. I've been using it for 3 years now. The case is incredibly hardy, the black coating on the bezel still holds. Only at the very edge, if you look closely, metal begins to show through. But given the constant wear and application on all types of surfaces dozens of times, I think it's worthy. The native leather strap fell apart in a year and a half, which I consider normal. Moreover, the watch was worn both in the feast and in the world, and at night it often remained on the hand. Batteries with my use (pairing once a day) last for 8 months. This is the 4th in almost 3 years. Changes in any watch workshop in a couple of minutes. When it starts to sit down, the fitness functions are cut off from the watch and it works for another 2 weeks before completely stopping in normal quartz watch mode. That is, you won’t be left without a chronometer on your hand (the first time my battery ran out on a trip abroad, I took a week there and another week at home - it was interesting when they would stop). Native straps are not only difficult to get, they cost as much as half a watch. That's bull. But for this model, straps for Samsung Galaxy Watch 42 mm are perfect. I have already embled a collection of 4 (1 hypoallergenic black silicone, 2 nato, 2 leather in different colors) for different situations. The design is simple yet stylish and incredibly versatile. By and large, these watches cover the need for a watch for any situation. You put the , you get an outdoor watch. You put silicone - for sports. Leather - can be worn under a jacket. And everywhere they look appropriate and beautiful without any discounts. And hence another problem: for 3 years I got a little tired of seeing the same watch on my hand))) I bought a pair of mechanics for a change. But I could get by with these harmines in any situation. A strict stylish three-hander is appropriate everywhere.

Pros
  • appearance, autonomy, accuracy of the pedometer and sleep readings, easy replacement of straps
Cons
  • The fitness component is meager, only steps, sleep and an inactivity scale. Native straps stand like a cast-iron bridge. They only connect to the smartphone forcibly (occasionally I find out that the data for yesterday was loaded into the application, but this is rather an exception to the rule, although the maximum frequency of data downloads is configured in the application). The stealth dial is not the most practical solution (it is relevant for this version). Readability to hell, in the evening you can see the time only at an angle. Alas, it was this version that got cheap, so I had to put up with it.
