This has been a very successful deterrent for our Australian Shepherd aka "Barky McBarkerson" when he starts to bark tangentially. She tries to control the neighborhood dogs that are always barking. barks at himself (Ghost - HOW is that supposed to help, Barky?). Now maybe we'll get a bark out of her before she just shuts up and decides it's not worth it. We set it low and it works great in our backyard, which is about 50 feet wide and 20 feet deep. We haven't made it to the fence where the neighbor's dog lives, but it might be a good idea so we can just shut off the source of the barking.
