I bought these connector cables while assembling parts to build my engine (January 2015). I installed them on October 14th before taking the car to the big annual car show in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. After 1 month (November 13th), which is less than 300 miles, the car had a terrible jerk. I assumed it could be the spark plugs and when I went to pull the spark plug wires to replace the spark plugs 5 of the 8 wires broke off as you can see in the attached picture. I even used dielectric grease on both ends of the connector wires (like I always do), it took no effort to remove the connector wires and they STILL came loose. I went to my local parts store and bought a new set of AC DELCO cables. When I brought them home to install, I decided to compare them. Their quality varied greatly. The ones I bought from AMAZON were as brittle as wet pasta and the ones I bought from the parts store were much stiffer and tougher. I'm willing to bet these are Chinese fakes that have flooded places like AMAZON and EBAY (even with factory packaging/tags). DO NOT BUY AC Delco parts from online stores like this one; it's not worth the risk. I had misfire/knock on 5 out of 8 cylinders; it could have done serious damage to my new $20,000 engine.
