As previously mentioned the 9748RR kit fits the C5 5.7L LS1. round like OEM, but heat shield fits well. I consider this an upgrade as the angled body is easier to remove without always pulling the wire and grommet through and then out of the OEM straight body. AC Delco 7mm printed on wire - looks well made - no problem. The measured resistance on all 8 wires was 820 ohms + - 20 ohms. (My OEM kit showed 4k ohms)

This is a very good product if you know how to install and remove. To disconnect the spark plug leads, you MUST use a spark plug lead removal tool, or you will remove the boot and snap off the connector at the top of the spark plug. Please do your research before doing any of these jobs, the days of weekend warrior car projects are over. These spark plug leads worked great and I was very pleased with how well they fit without getting in the way of other parts of the engine compartment. I would recommend buying these if you are replacing spark plugs. I personally have a 5.3 V8 and 41-110 ACDelco spark plugs. To be clear, DO NOT BUY OTHER SPARK PLUGS, BUY ONLY ACDELCO SPARK PLUGS. Like everyone here who had trouble with this, I had the occasional drop out and even when I tried to pull on one of the wires it fell apart. The metal clip inside isn't tight enough to hold the wire and I tightened them very gently, even using dielectric grease like everyone else here. I suspect they are Chinese fakes but all I know is that they misfired and also fell apart and were unusable. I bought these connector cables while assembling parts to build my engine (January 2015). I installed them on October 14th before taking the car to the big annual car show in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Very nice regular wires. But they have a big fall. Once you install them, you cannot remove them. You will most likely pull the metal connectors right out of the trunk. I'm very aware of this and I take my time and really dodge to make sure it's coming out of the connector and such, but with these wires it's inevitable.
