Enough for the basic work!

This smart multimeter has many reviews and videos of disassembly. What's smart about that? It automatically switches between voltage, resistance and continuity, which is enough for many people. I had an earlier version of this gauge branded Kaiweets. I think it was 112b or something, but anyway, this unit was much smaller and didn't use standard test leads, but this one does, and it's really good. The display is great and easy to read outdoors. Build quality seems good, the test leads are cheap PVC but they do the job and last a long time when you coil them up without flexing too much, necessitating the use of a much larger storage box or bag. In terms of accuracy, it's pretty good and won't disappoint. You get three readings per second, which is normal for measurements that don't change. The only thing that bothers me now is the histogram. This is basically useless and should not be enabled. It updates at the same rate as the main display, so I don't know why it's there. On good gauges, this bar graph updates many times faster than the main LCD. So if you have a rapidly fluctuating signal, you will at least be aware of it. This makes the meter really look like a toy. Taking basic non-fluctuating measurements will help you get the job done. Testing higher voltages would be much safer with good quality silicon wires. You know what you're getting for the price, to me the bar graph that comes with it makes this meter look like a toy and I just can't trust it.

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
