Review on VDO SE10001HP REDI Sensor 314 9 Sensor by Paul Rogger

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I recommend buying a kit (4) and replacing ALL the sensors at once.

I suggest you fit these if you are buying/fitting NEW tires otherwise you will most likely have to pay to fit them onto your existing tires. After installation (requires removing current tires from rims, installing in rim and reinstalling tire). If you have the gear and know how to fix tires, that's fine. Most people don't do this and leave it to a professional tire shop. I have made. The same tire shop I've been going to for 12 years. Once installed, they need to be synchronized with your car's on-board computer. If you have this tool, great. If not, leave it to the tire fitter again. I bought new tires from TireRack.com (no taxes - free shipping). Took them to my tire shop when my car needed new tires. Before installing new tires, the old sensors were removed and replaced with new ones. After fitting the tires, the tire specialist synchronized the new tire monitors with the vehicle's on-board computer. This development, including local taxes, was $95. Exceptional price. Keep in mind that not all tire fitters are the same and price inflation can occur. Go shopping before you make a decision. Then go and TALK to the installer. Check the prices from your local dealers. These OEM sensors are very reasonably priced. The OEM (General Motors) price (including taxes) is just over $100 each. 4 of these for the price Revain is definitely better! They have batteries built in so they can "talk" to your car's onboard computer. I drive a small convertible roadster. They fit perfectly and work as expected.
