Good and bad news. It doesn't need any instructions at all - maybe they're available on the internet, but if there are, then there's nothing on the packaging. Now for the good news, you put in the batteries (they don't come with the remote) and it works with your Samsung TV right out of the box - you just use the remote to turn the TV on and it changes channels and does the basic stuff . I needed it for a small TV in the kitchen so I don't need anything else. However if you have other things hooked up etc. you are completely on your own.
