Review on 🪵 Mini Floating Aquarium Log by Zoo Med by Carrie Robinson

After receiving the "log house" I rinsed it thoroughly and left it in a water bath overnight, rinsed again late in the morning and put it in around noon the tank. (This is standard good practice for aquariums, also there was a very very faint smell of plastic, I couldn't smell it but other reviewers did mention it so a very thorough rinse was a good idea to wash off some of the novelty - only in the event of). It only took Master Betta 30 seconds to explore his new home! He looks really cute swimming through it and it gives him a nice dark spot to make him feel safe and relaxed. This is a great price for this product, buying aquarium supplies from pet stores is so overpriced. That floating log is great and the open top for putting in snacks is a nice bonus. I tied hemp twine through the hole in the roof and tied it to the suction cup so it stays in place and doesn't float on the surface of the tank (which it does when you have power). I added artificial plants to dress up the rope and suction cup. Great addition to your aquarium! I might even buy him another one! :)
