These are pretty cheap locks, but I knew they were thoughts: I just need some gym locks that won't be around for a long time. They fit the bill, but they're pretty cheap. It takes a long time to break open with a hammer or crowbar as the locking mechanism does not penetrate very deeply into the case. The loop is also flimsy which means some fairly small/cheap bolt cutters will be able to pierce it in no time. All in all these are good locks for the price unless you plan on using them to lock something very valuable that will be left unattended for a long time, or in a shed or elsewhere. The combination is easy to use and easy to set up. I've never had any problems with random combo resets as others have commented. In any case, not entirely sure how you could do that, as it requires a specific method to get it into this mode.
