I thought titanium coated drill bits would last a lot longer than they actually do. I'd say they're about the same quality as you can get for a few bucks at Harbor Freight. So far I have used the smallest and the second largest and both wore out very quickly. Firstly they are single edged, I thought they were double edged but that's my fault so only one cut face is loaded. Secondly, the coating is erased very quickly, and after its removal the edge quickly fades. So the smaller one I used on 20 gauge aluminum sheet took a little longer than the larger one I used on steel switch boxes, but neither lasted as long as I would have liked. The smaller one I punched about 15 holes before realizing it was going dull and the larger one only took about 4 or 5 and it was toasted. Unless you just need to make a few holes I would advise finding a better set. The product page says they have a lifetime guarantee, but we'll see how true that is. Once I figure out the replacement process I'll share the results and change my estimate (if necessary), assuming I'm just unlucky and gotten a few from a bad batch.
