We have many kitchen gadgets. rice cooker? Yes. instant pot. Aha! Silicone squirt for avocado, tin can. It would anyway. If it's something that only had purpose in your life (or it was once on sale), we pretty much have it. However, my brother and daughter-in-law are complete opposites. They are absolute minimalists. Imagine my surprise when they pulled out an electric arc lighter at a recent birthday party. WHAT IS THIS MAGIC? I asked. When our lighter ran out of liquid, it was the easiest purchase. I know it had a flexible neck (it's easy to get caught in partially used plugs) and the on/off switch gives me peace of mind that it won't accidentally catch fire. The battery indicator is clear and simple, and since opening it and confirming a full charge I've been using it every night for about 2 weeks without having to charge it. Serious. Such a smart, simple invention, perfect for kitchens (lighting candles, pilot lights etc) and would be useful when camping too. Definitely recommend!
