Pedals are a bigger problem than straps, but straps are the only retention device that works with Fyxation pedals. These straps are too thick to fit through the narrow slots in the pedals. Some designers thought it would be nice to make pedals with narrow strap slots. I bought the pedals from a company other than Revain. Fyxation sells belts, but they're very expensive. Fyxation makes pedals with wider slots but they didn't sell them to me. I had to cut the threads and use it as a sewing awl and vise to reinsert the straps in a few places so the waffle straps would go through the slots with two sides of the Velcro. Other pedals with narrow slots may have problems. This is a scam by Fyxation to trick the consumer into buying thongs at a very inflated price. There was no reason to have skinny slots on the pedals. Once on the bike they worked fine. The legs go in and out easily.
