Review on Flying Fisherman Razor: Ultimate Polarized Sunglasses for Fishing & Outdoor Sports - AcuTint UV Blocker by Brian Trujillo

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Nice white frame polarized and tinted sunglasses are hard to find

Very good value glasses so it was a bet on quality. However, beautifully polarized and blackout white frame sunglasses are hard to come by. Flying Fisherman has many different price points, so expectations should vary. The glasses were actually great for a full two months or so until they started wearing out one of the lenses. This happened after I got wet. There was no heavy rubbing when attempting to dry the lens and a soft cloth was used. Not sure why the problem occurred. On the plus side, there was good color contrast without too much distortion. They are light and sit comfortably. A solid price for what I was looking for. Just disappointed that I only had them for such a short time before the lens problem started. UPDATE: Decided to buy again after my first experience. I initially gave three stars. However, downgrading to two stars. They are disappointingly different from my previous purchase. There is less "smoky blue" specular reflection on the lenses. Perhaps this is due to problems with complaints about erasing the coating. Mirroring darkens images, so they typically have a lighter hue. However, the color contrast is significantly weaker. Everything is much darker. Not as dark as the pair on the chain store carousel, but between the first purchase and this one the shade feels very different and darker.
