Needed something to hang bird feeder well away from deck and also allow quick resupply of bird feeder. Bought a 4.5 foot flag pole at Home Depot which inserts into holder. I then hang bird feeder from connectors for flag. Works great!In fact, the flag pole is so slick squirrels can't climb out to end to invade bird feeder. They get half way and slip off falling to ground.Easy to install around deck support pole using metal hose clamps I purchased at Home Depot. This bracket tightens securely to flag pole. The bracket is carrying a total of about 5lbs with no problems. Have been using for month and it has worked perfectly.
