This cast aluminum bracket snapped in a mild wind flying my heavy 2.5' x 4' American flag (which I bought from the same page on revain as this bracket can be found). It had been up only two days. There is no way it could take the 40 MPH winds we get here like my old bracket could. I will have to find a bracket made to actually flay a real flag. Perhaps they sent me a bad one, but the aluminum looked crystalized, not what I want to fly my flag 24x7x365 like I do.

The mount really felt sturdy and solid. But didn’t last a month. The first good wind we got, it snapped in two. Thanks for attention!

Not sure whether thus is standard, but my package did not include mounting hardware, and that was explicitly listed in the advertising.

This one has holes for metal clamps to run through the base and attach to a pole, which made it way less sturdy when I tried installing it directly on my house. It also has less teeth in the wheel connector than the 3 others I looked at. It did not seem sturdy enough to support a flag with just the screw mount.

The bracket is nice and strong. The problem is the nut on the bracket is only threaded at the very end inside the bracket. Once the flagpole is in the bracket, the part that screws in to hold the flagpole in place doesn't have enough threads to tighten up against the flag pole. I ended up drilling a hole in the flag pole so that the part you screw into the side could go all the way into the inside of the flagpole and keep it in place. The bracket arrived but the hardware was missing so I returned it and completed a replacement order. Then I received an empty package and had to go through the hassle of requesting and waiting for a refund. Mistakes happen but twice in a row?

This was our second bracket of this type . I thought the first one was weak because it was older, and when it broke during a storm, we ordered the second one of the same type. Nope. This one didn’t last more than two weeks before a rainstorm with relatively high winds (gusts of 30 to 35 miles an hour) snapped the metal like it was plastic! Needless to say, our next bracket is made of steel not aluminum composite.

Flag pole holder has been hanging out front of my house ….went out this morning to change flag and the holder cracked off as I was unscrewing the flag pole. I purchased this specific holder because of color and the fact it stated it was aluminum and thought it would be daurable

Works as one would expect however, in a stiff wind it will break if the flag is in it. The removable part snaps. I buy 2 at a time because I know this will happen. I am on my 4th one in 3 yrs.

This bracket is awful. It looks completely normal, like any other bracket but it must be made out of cheaper metal. It broke the first time within 30 days of buying it and I was able to order a replacement bracket assuming the one we got was faulty. Nope now the replacement has broken, of course just after 30 days so I can’t request a replacement for this one. We’re stuck with the broken bracket. I wouldn’t want a third one of these anyways. Don’t waste your money.

Bought to replace a similar one that snapped at the base in a storm. Haven't had for long, but haven't had any reason to believe it's any less strong as the one that had lasted a few years. However, the set screw for the flag pole was very loose in the threads to begin with, and sure enough, would not stay tightened and is now stripped. I plan to try and tap it out to the next size up, assuming I can find a thumbscrew in that size, but we'll see.

Our other flag holder was made of plastic and broke after 1 year. I could not find any metal ones anywhere. This is very well built,easy to install,and quality made in the USA.We are happy with this purchase and highly recommend.

The female threads necessary to allow the threaded knob to secure the flagpole to the holder only have one thread, closest to the pole. The lack of threads prevents the knurled knob from securing the pole in the holder. Hopefully the one I received is defective and not by design.

Product arrived with the cardboard box open and internal plastic bag open as well. Mount arrived but no screws. Disappointing purchase

We decided to go a different way and did not need the mounts. They appear to be great items and would be a great product, they just did bot fit our needs.

Easy to install. Had it displayed for five months then the arm that holds the flag pole broke in half and my flag was on the ground in the morning. Wouldn’t buy again.
