Bought 3 of these bulbs for my two turtles and one turtle. Also bought a UVA & UVB checker. Checked all 3 bulbs and not a single UV light came from any bulbs. After that I bought another brand of UV lamps and the UV test showed that these lamps have UV radiation, so I know that the UV test works. These bulbs are bright, just don't use them as a UVB and UVA source.
